eyeot's POS is a point of sale designed for French fiscal compliance: every transaction produces a tamper-proof receipt, and all of your closings are generated and retained automatically. The whole thing is connected to your stock, your accounting and your customer file — no double entry.

For shops, restaurants, points of sale and any cash-handling business subject to the obligation to use a secured cash-register software.

What you can do

Immutable, tamper-proof receipts

Every sales receipt is locked, SHA-256-chained and signed, making it impossible to alter or delete after the fact — in line with the four ISCA pillars (Integrity, Security, Retention, Archiving) required by France's NF525 rules.

Z, G, M and A closings

Daily closing (Z), cumulative grand total (G), monthly closing (M) and annual closing (A) are produced automatically and retained immutably, with a daily integrity check of the chain.

Permanent Fiscal Journal (JFP)

Every fiscal event (session opening, sale, void, closing…) is written to a strictly append-only journal, exportable in one click for a French tax-authority audit.

Atomic stock decrement

Every transaction decrements stock in real time, in the same database transaction as the receipt — no more discrepancies between the till and inventory.

Sessions and cash float

Per-operator session open and close, cash float, justified discrepancies and traced non-sale movements: cash handling is complete and auditable.

Offline mode

Sales entered without a network are queued (idempotent drafts) then automatically finalized into signed, chained receipts as soon as the connection returns.

Compliance & trust

Compliant with France's NF525 / CGI 286-I-3 bis

eyeot meets the obligation to use a secured cash-register software (article 286-I-3 bis of the French General Tax Code). A publisher self-attestation compliant with the 2026 finance law is downloadable from your workspace. This requirement is specific to France; comparable fiscalization rules exist in several other countries.

10-year legal archiving

The fiscal journal and annual reports are archived as a signed archive and kept for 10 years in the document management system, ready for any inspection.

Does the POS update stock automatically?
Yes. Each receipt line generates an outbound stock movement in the same transaction as the sale: your inventory always stays consistent with your till, in real time.
Does it handle multi-rate VAT?
Yes. Each receipt breaks down VAT by rate and the closings report the detail of collected VAT, automatically carried over into the accounting entries.
